Raised in Colorado, Matt began his journey with a strong foundation in marketing, earning a BBA from Baylor University in Waco, TX. His passion for design and creativity led him to further his studies in Design & Art Direction at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta.
With extensive agency experience, Matt has worked at top firms like Fitzgerald + Co, Engauge/Moxie, DigitasLBi, Brunner, and FCB Global. He has contributed to campaigns for major brands, including Coca-Cola, Chick-fil-A, SunTrust, and Delta, and has also built several successful brands from the ground up. One of his most notable achievements is the development of American Spirit Whiskey, now a popular choice across the Southeast and represented by United Distributors.
In addition to his agency work, Matt has valuable in-house experience as a Creative Lead in the healthcare sector at Brookdale. There, he led creative initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement within a highly competitive market. His expertise extends into higher education as well, where he played a key role in the successful rebranding of Belmont University, helping to modernize the institution's image and strengthen its market position.
In 2010, Matt participated in Project M, an experimental design education program led by John Bielenberg. During this time, he joined a diverse team of creatives in Belfast, Maine, to develop an impactful awareness campaign supporting the Gulf of Mexico oil spill relief efforts.
Matt's expertise spans across various mediums—TV, out-of-home, digital, print, mobile, and social. His work has garnered multiple accolades, including Addy’s, OMMA's, Webbies, and Amys. His innovative projects have been featured in respected publications such as Print, CMYK, and GOOD Magazine.
